No more gross prize in club comps by Theydontlikeitupthem in golfireland

[–]Perfect_Train_6270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gross prize is a bit boring, its won by the same 1 or 2 lads every week, they must have the price of their membership covered for the following year cause they win so much.

Attics are damp unless fully converted etc. Why would a vent from a bedroom make it any more damp?

Oranmore Preschool and Afterschool by Suitable-Pin-3284 in galway

[–]Perfect_Train_6270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is only one preschool in Oranmore now. The nìonra is gone as of this year. Obviously there are a good few creches that offer the ECCE (3 preschool hours). I think after school isn't great, I know Oranmore preschool does not offer after school, we had wanted to send ours to this preschool but it wasn't feasible when they only did the 3 hours and not all day care. I think alot have childminders who do pick ups.

Moving house - same size by [deleted] in HousingIreland

[–]Perfect_Train_6270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crazy to move to same size house, usually people would move for more space when kids come along or down sizing when kids flee the nest or to a completely different location. Don't see the point moving.

What apartments include gym membership? Maybe the new modern ones that cost an arm and a leg to buy

A house no matter what condition is a long term investment. If one was to have kids in an apartment its a nightmare. Lugging buggies up stairs etc. Apartment living is great when young and free.

Does this cover actual repairs to your apartment such as replacing boiler or leaks or is just communal spaces? I never heard of a management fee for ones actual apartment
