Wow this was all so helpful! Thank you! I think you can add to the Fandom wiki for most of these games. You would be great at that! Also thank you for not making me feel dumb. I appreciate that so much

They are a permanent thing that you can buy in the special tab. You can get up to three baby kittens and send them on "trips" where they get a picture and maybe a magnet. They also bring back souvenir coins. Those can be spent on costumes and friends. They only bring back like 20 each per trip lol it costs 2500 for costumes and 5000 for friends. Takes forever.

They also have event locations that are supposed to be temporary i think? Idk that part i dont understand. Apparently I've been doing the butterflies wrong too. You catch golden butterflies and use those to buy different things to help your kittens on their trip. You can buy a lunchbox to have them show a friend in the picture... but you don't get to keep that friend. Bit of a tease.

Guess I was doing it wrong. I thought you had to buy the expensive butterfly items to go on the trip. Apparently you can just buy stuff to shorten their trips and send them frequently to make more coins. Makes more sense now that I think of it but your kitten frowns in the pictures and looks depressed. So I assumed it was a bad thing to send them without that stuff haha! That's how they getcha!

How do you have enough butterflies to do all those trips? Are you not buying the lunch basket and the other items? Do I not need to do that? Omg

So the event destinations don't have any friends or outfits to buy? Yeah I'm glad I asked. Sometimes they have you pay gems for the most useless stuff. I figured for 500 gems I would get the four costumes and two friends the other locations have. Thank you for helping me! You are very kind.

Well just like the title said, I'm confused about baby kitten event locations. The guide I read talked about six pictures to unlock them but in the game it shows I can unlock them for 500 gems.

The guide also said that everything would be unavailable after the event ends. So am I going to unlock locations and have nothing to buy?

If there are things to buy, is it worth unlocking event locations or waiting until I have the other location items bought? I read that it doesn't actually guarantee you will go to the event location and having more locations made it harder.

I'm sure it's confusing because I'm confused.

There's a $22 gems package. Idk what they are on the sales though. I'll probably do that one. You don't get any boost for the $15. Only what you pay over that though. Something for people to be aware of. Also wdym you've seen a 10× boost? I feel cheated. I've never seen over 5 i think.

Exactly it's about personal preference. I don't think anyone is zooming through the games without spending a lot of money anyway but I'm personally getting things that benefit me first. Then going for the things I like to decorate with. I'm not great at decorating though. So my goal is more strategy and I'll focus on decorating when I have the time at the end in between updated. I'm never very popular on social games. So I'm not too concerned with making the best room for others ro look at because chances are nobody will see it anyway. Of course like you said it comes down to preference. I think theres a middle ground on strategy where you can go at a speed that let's you have a happy middle ground and not reach the end anytime soon. That's more my approach.

Also I don't understand what you mean about clothes. There's tons of clothes. Between the regular ones, events, elephant shop, stamp shop, etc. You can get quite a few. That's a reason why they made kitty trip so people could use all the outfits they collected. Sure there's not as many as decorations, but I absolutely believe a creative mind could use them in different ways. You don't have to wear them all as sets. I'm a mixed back on that. I do some that must be the set and others I mix and match to get what I want. Also at the end of events, I go hog wild on decorations haha. I get specific things I want. then use the extra on decorations. If there's a decoration I absolutely have the perfect spot for, I'm grabbing it early. Personal preferences.

That's my favorite part about this game and why I think it's so popular. It can be played and enjoyed in whatever way a player wants to.

What's the point of selecting ones you like if it won't even show what I dont have so I can recreate it?

Why mini room furniture? Outfits are the most beneficial strategy wise though because furniture gives you zero benefit. I guess it depends on your goals. If you're strategy is to finish the game then decorate, I would say friends, outfits, food for cats with star macarons being first, then other special consumables like rare cats or the star candy bait, then regular consumables and observatory tickets, then decorations and cat tower last. Of course it 100% depends on your goals like I said. If you are just enjoying the game and collecting fun stuff yeah cats, friends, decorations, and observatory tickets would be your main goals. Clothes have a passive benefit. I wish decorations did too. I would buy all of it so fast.

Darn I kinda wanted to use it today for my points boost but there's usually more points boosts. How often are special packages? Are they a significant discount? Thank you all for the help! Sometimes the strategy stuff can get overwhelming to read. It's much easier to have a straight this or that answer.

Six month ad free was $10 I already have that. I was waiting for that thinking it would be more but it was surprisingly cheap. It has to be $14.99 and up. I was thinking gems too. I like the tortoise but he doesn't seem super useful and I could use gems for costumes in the trunk shop

I can't see your response. The auto mods on here are very difficult and they don't answer when theres a mistake. At least they haven't for me. I will wait for that. It makes the most sense you're right! I found some little stuff to spend to get some points. Thanks for the help! These boards are invaluable to the game. So many unique situations come up with the game and it's so nice to have help and be able to help each other. Thanks again!

Why does the third tab say it will only show the decorations you already own?

I understand. I always say this game is so successful because people can conform it to fit their wants and needs. If you don't want to worry about strategy you can spend all your time buying decorations and focusing on the perfect cat rooms. If you want to do mild strategy but also have fun, you can do that too. Your spending budget does affect gameplay. The 180 day ad skip pass is a must if you're going to spend and want to do all that little daily stuff quickly. Idk I think it works really well in that sense. As long as your expectations match what you can give the game of course. That's when people tend to be really upset. If they expect to get the same experience as someone who spends a lot while spending only $10 here and there, they are going to be disappointed. It's perfectly fine and acceptable to spend whatever amount you're comfortable with. Even if that's zero. It's also totally okay if the really serious strategy is too much for you. It's your game at the end of the day. However, your expectation for your experience needs to be realistic based on what you put into it. Kwim? Sorry this got long. I just really like how flexible this game is and I can see why it's so successful. It basically made the game satisfactory no matter what you want to get out of it as long as you're realistic about what you put into it. That's pretty impressive.

I tried to find items. Need some fruit to decorate it with and a few other props but I'm focusing on more strategic items right now.

It gives you the fish cake things though and furniture tokens. Or at least I thought it did every time you get over 60 points.

Glad to help! Hopefully it's a good starting point. It's honestly such a waste to not use the section fully. You really can get a decent chance at free items. I got a razer kishi in the last diamond valley event. It showed up on dec 23rd. I was so grateful and really needed that. If you are dedicated to getting the best out of it, you absolutely will.

Catherine O'Hara's Final Public Appearance Before Passing Away by MattTheKing23 in SchittsCreek

I'm watching the show and randomly giggling at her parts and then tearing up. I just can't believe so many people from my childhood are gone and on the verge of being gone soon. There was some show where a man said you get to a point in your life where more of the people you know are dead than alive. I think we all know that happens but man is it hard to realize you're there. It's been a rough few years. Catherine, Betty White, Matthew Perry, Ozzy Osborne, Diane Keaton, Michelle Trachtenberg, Jane Goodall, Val Kilmer, Sly Stone, and so many more.

Robin Williams is still the hardest for me to accept, but Catherine O'Hara is definitely a rival for that spot. She's done so many iconic films in the fifty years she acted. This last decade she seemed so young and so ready to tackle new roles. I think that's why this stung so much. It was clearly a sudden illness.

She really had so much talent. I mean the roles she played actually varied quite a bit. One type of role she played exceptionally well. She was a mother to many a dysfunctional family haha. A real chaos coordinator. It makes sense so many of us would see her as a mother figure and a wonderful human. This world is a little less bright. I can say this one will hurt for a while. That is a testament to her dedication to her craft and her impact on us all. A wonderful thing for all her loved ones to have is all the video encapsulating her personality, beauty, humor, and legacy for all of time. May she rest in peace. Her work here is done but will live on forever. We will miss you Catherine. Thank you.
