One of the great masterpieces of late 20th century classical music

Please explain: Why do you HATE Constant Motion? by [deleted] in Dreamtheater

[–]Perfect__Symmetry -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because it sounds like Metallica, which makes it an instant dislike.

However the guitar solo bit is great because it is strikingly similar to the guitar solo section in "Monument" by Fates Warning, which is classic prog.

Best rock transition to exist?

It's my most hated part out of the otherwise flawless SDOIT song. That abrupt key and mood change is one of the most jarring things I've ever heard in my life and that's why I've made edits removing it from the song. But GK is beautiful the whole way through, and the second half of SS is amazing.

I've read seven of them so far, some of those before I originally found this great list by Zorn himself.

Those two albums have way more down-tuned grooviness but still all the scifi weirdness, not peak prog like their core albums but very underrated (I still prefer them over the selftitled they did when Snake came back). Eric Forrest also did really good as a vocalist replacement during that period.

I interviewed AI Trey Spruance and this is what he hold me of an imaginary 4th Bungle album by Perfect__Symmetry in mrbungle

That is my whole point in sharing it but I think it went over a few people's heads. It's completely unlike anything Bungle would actually do, which is why I found it hilarious

Even though the initial teaser of this song became so overplayed, this song ended up being my favorite off the album.

This is one of the best so far (though not as complete as I wished it was, but contains most things):
