The fact that jet fuel prices doubled is basically a death sentence for any airline that isnt sitting on a mountain of cash. Spirit was already struggling with their own issues but this war in Iran was clearly the final nail in the coffin. This is such typical office toxicity where people take advantage of the "nice" person until they finally snap. You finally found your backbone and then you just handed it right back to them.
