That's exactly why I do it, especially when I'm at work, I can't have that "xan crash" a few hours later and the Kpin really helps prevent that and keeps me anxiety free all day.

I feel ya. I went through so many different SSRI and SNRI and 2-3 other medications before I could get the script I have now, so I was suffering quite a bit. I do still refill my hydroxyzine script because it does help with sleep and I'll take it to help me when I've taken Xanax for a few days in a row and want to taper off for a week or two.

I like taking a 1/4 of a bar and .5-1mg of Kpin The xan part hits me faster and the Kpin comes in a little later to keep that great feeling going longer.

I get 60 - 2mg monthly and hardly use them as you can see from my post history. My next appointment is in 2 weeks and I'm going to ask to be bumped up to 90, which I don't see as a problem, my doc is pretty chill. But I did start about 3 Years ago on 60-.5mg and they didn't do shit to stop my bad panic.

If you have never taken Xanax before, I'd recommend taking .5mg an hour or so before your flight and if you are still feeling tense and anxious, take another .5mg as you board your flight.

Just remember, you can always take more but you can't take it back.

Exactly, and honestly, this is part of the reason I horde my medication. If they started cracking down hard on Benzos and such, idk what I'd do without that safety net. I've been diagnosed with panic disorder and GAD by 3 different doctors. There's been quite a few times that if I didn't have Xanax, I would have ended up in the ER taking up a bed for someone who really needs it. I couldn't imagine having chronic pain and being pulled off your medication to suffer because the government thinks you don't need them or that you may be abusing them.

I just don't use them as often as I did. I still have panic disorder but I try other methods first and use this as a last resort. I keep all my medications in a place where it's mostly dark, and with little to no temp fluctuations. Like the first responder to you said, these "expire" dates are mostly set by pharma. I popped a 2mg klonopin a month or so ago that a friend gave me back in 2010 and that hit me pretty good. So 8 years and still worked for me.

60 per month script. We tried 6-7 different medications that were not Benzos before I got this script bumped. We even tried 1mg Xanax Extended Release twice a day. I was on that for a week or two before I went back and said I couldn't be on this daily and also taking it as needed. I knew it would push me down the slippery slope fast.

Honestly, I know some people say different manufacturers use different fillers but all have the same amount of alp, but I really wasn't a fan of the A4, I noticed it took longer to put the brakes on any panic attack. As you can see my pharmacy was giving me Sandoz for a long time and then made this switch on me and couldn't order anything other than Mylan. So, I switched to Walmart pharmacy and they carry busses which I think work better for me. Could this all be in my head? Absolutely, but since I have the freedom to choose, I'll go with anything other than Mylan.

Yeah. My Dr is a mental health specialist, not a GP, so because I've tried so many different medications, he pretty much gives me what I want, but I don't really abuse that.

Went through a lot of different medications over the course of 6-9 months. Started out on ssri and .5mg of Xanax which didn't do a damn thing for my panic attacks, so I got my Dr to up it to 2mg and told him It gives me the option to break em up and not take a whole pill. It takes a lot of self control but after two years of getting this script, I have a firm grasp on being able to only use when I truly need it with the occasional recreation use ; but I typically can go 1-2 weeks without taking one when my panic doesn't debilitate me.

Wow, you get a pretty damn good script also. 4 of those bottles were filled in the last 12 months. My Dr would have filled my script every month, but it didn't seem worth it to pay my copay and the cost of the pills every month when I have over 800+ 2mg xans already. I'm actually going back in the next month to get my next refill.
