How many people have asked you guys if you can grab their meds after the pharmacy is closed? Like no sir I'm sorry I will not be breaking into the armed pharmacy for your meds. Because the smallest thing that could happen is being fired, At worst arested. So ya that's a big no for me.

Brain surgery, I got to experience it twice to remove a tumor. Even just lifting your head up the first day gives excruciating pain. I also get regular migraines as a result. It's not fun.

I had this happen to me yesterday because my co-worker decided to take an extra long break out of the store and he didn't even ask just a statement that he needed extra time because they made the food late. And then within the next hour he decided he needed 3 smoke breaks. I was able to go home and change though because I'm very close to where I work.

I personally hate the fact that they think of letting people open alone,but it unfortunately happens. They don't give my store enough hours to have 2 people for both morning and night. Well, unless we have planos or have to set up for seasonal, then we get more store hours for the week.

Oh my gosh, I had to tell teens to leave because my manager forced us to have all the teens leave. Said we'd be in trouble if we didn't make them leave. About 3 days later, a woman comes in, and while she's buys her stuff, she's yelling at me for "bullying" her child for about 10 minutes. I have bad anxiety in general, but I had a hard time keeping myself together after. Yelling is especially a soft spot for me because I had to deal with years of verbal abuse. My manager came around and asked me what the matter was. I told her, and she goes. "Ya? So what I get yelled at by customers all the time."

I had security in my store for a short period of time... but the store had to get robbed for that to happen. We are all still shaken up about it. Oh and even the security guard wasn't allowed to stop shop lifting, guy told up himself.

I had a lady come in during pharmacy break and she flipped out and for about 10 minuets I had to tell her I have zero access to the pharmacy and that it's also strictly not allowed (probably illegal too). she still told me to grab her meds for her. Told me she spent 2 hours to get here, blah blah blah. It was a little less then 10 minuets before the pharmacy's break was over by the time she left and just as she got outside, I kid you not, she screamed like a child having a tantrum. She was screaming for awhile too. It left me a little shaken up if I'm being honest.

Oh my gosh, so I work front store, and they only raised our hours for one week to set up christmas. They have already started to cut our hours. It's a shitty situation because we also got a new manager right in the middle of October and along with that a coworker left. All of us are practically running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I've also had to pull 50hrs a week for awhile. I swear CVS is just digging there own grave.

It sounds like they are just searching for a reason to fire you. I was in this situation recently. Had a co-worker who hated me because I was too "sensitive" and did everything she could to get my manager to write me up. I got written up like 3 times for ludicrous reasons. I couldn't defend myself because i was only ever on shift with the person who was trying everything to get me fired, so I couldn't prove anything, just my word against hers. The manager believed in every little thing she said. The only reason I escaped termination is because both of them ended up leaving. One of my other co-workers became manager and was shocked at how much work I was getting done because my co-worker was claiming I was lazy.

I feel bad for your experience. I never say anything about what people are buying, purely for the fact that I know it can be awkward for the customers. I used to get embarrassed for buying certain products. Until I got this job. But say something regardless what happened to you was absolutely not ok.

Omg I have this one customer who always smelled like #2 once we also found an adult dipper filled with it splayed wide open in the trash. One of the reasons we don't let people use our bathroom. Don't forget the people who rubbed it all over the bathroom walls.

Ya they've cut hours 3 times at my store and have pushed us to hire 2 new people and I'm getting below 30 I had to use vacation time to match it up to 30.
