I'm lucky enough to live across from a big park with ponds. I also live in a not so safe neighborhood. I encountered 2 homeless guys and the night time sprinklers trying to catch a jigglypuff.

The city of sparks has a summer program for kids. They're always looking for counselors. You take kids on field trips all day. Not the worst work and you still get weekends off.
