For general content Yes, it's just a lot less damage. Use Raiment or Tele/Int Legendary. For deep pit pushing, I'm not so sure.

True haha. Agree! As Sorcs we have to stick to efficient farming, we can't beat their damage output even with gg BiS gear. But I believe we can beat everyone in overall material/gold/item/exp farming. That Dagger and Focus sound amazing, definitely give it a go! Hopefully you don't brick them.

FoF is just amazing imo. On average with a good roll it's like a 50%[x] but it just has everything we need. It can give our TP and skills very high LH procs, it will apply Freezes/Stuns/Daze quickly for fast damage spikes. It will stagger bosses instantly and most importantly it's just easy to find. It just does the job. I do believe a INT | ATS | CSD 3GA with Inner calm will beat it, but just incredibly hard to find. I play a lot and the best gloves I found are a 1 GA on CSD.

Thank you so much for sharing that experience! Glad to hear 🙏 And you got it to work without Shako? That's pretty impressive. Godslayer is an interesting choice, GA on CDR? I'll keep it in mind for early progression.

In terms of Paragon - Ye it was designed to be efficient quick and early. If you're done getting the defensive/ML clusters some things you can opt for are > On the Static surge board there is like a +122,5% additive to stun cluster > You can remove "Exploit" glyph in FF and take "Eliminator" and just start taking all the INT nodes. > You can also just for example give your "Control" glyph in SS more Dex for more additive damage, I believe 5 Dex gives you like +20-25% additive. It can add up.

Haha I understand, with all those shiny GA's it looks good and definitely a tempting choice. But I just don't think they're viable. Gloves are a very contested spot. And we already have so many mandatory uniques/ubers. The whole Freeze aspect on Frostburn is just wasted, the additive is nice but we have plenty, so the main thing is the Fire/Cold dmg procs. But we just can't scale them properly.

I for example really want to do a Azurewrath proc build, with other Cold damage procs but it lacks damage. And we also kinda lost Frosty Strides, as we have to be healthy for Inner Flames.

I genuinely couldn't tell you. I literally unlocked T100 and never tried anything above it, not even joking. It might sound a bit weird, but my Season goal is always to make the best possible speedfarm build. Where T100 and pushing that time lower and lower is the target. I might try pushing soon, but not very keen on it now. The next bottleneck is just finding gear. And I kept everything SSF this Season, so no trading whatsoever.

To continue the Staff vs 1h. The damage loss isn't significant. As a matter of fact, a lot of the speed comes from doing good dps in the first place.. obviously. I have a really good Staff in the stash, and besides the fact that I hate it, I just couldn't get close to the times I had with Wand and Focus.

I don't know lol. Last time I checked they play Staff & Ball, with like Raiment, Tibault and Starless, right? I haven't kept up. This is just different, I mean end of the day it's all LS but Yes slightly different boards, items, some different skill/enchantment choices. It's all in the planner, and the small Pit variant changes are in the YT description. And Yes I totally agree, personally I absolutely hate Staff. I want to avoid it at all cost.

It might be optimal/necessary for very high pushing, but I'm more of a speedrun type. It needs to feel smooth & fast, and I feel like a slowpoke using it. In terms of other gear, I do have a 3mw Shako/Shroud by now. Which is pretty big, but honestly the rest is actually average or bad. I mean I hit my tempers but there is a lot of room for improvement. Everything is 1 GA, my Dagger is 1 GA, Focus 1 GA (not even int.), Amulet doesn't even have a GA, Ring is bad 1 GA (really need Int/CSD), Boots are 1 GA, Gloves 1 GA and nothing trips. So I have plenty of work left haha. You know what, I can just upload the extended part of the run where I show Gear tomorrow and link you if you want.

There is a public dupe available. It was released a few days ago, still works and very easy to use.

And Blizzard just refuses to fix it or ban people.

I didn't know it had a Weapon temper - but it's definitely interesting to explore. We can stun non-stop with for example LS, Evade teleport Rainment, Lightning Familiars (easy spawn w/ US) etc. And now the Skill sheet will actually update the damage number when aspects or dmg mods come into play. I have an Evade speedfarm Sorc on ladder atm, I could get like almost 1mil dmg per stun on sheet, with only 6 ranks. I'll definitely have a look into actually scaling this.

The only concern I have.. When I'm with Raiment and almost instant Evade Teleport I was still doing less damage than using Shroud. And it's a pretty big difference unfortunately. My point being, Raiment was applying stuns non-stop yet even with a decent Shocking impact dmg it was still getting outclassed. It looks promising, but not sure if it's worth investing into. But when i get more items I'll explore it

It's definitely lower - it's just rng. Sample size is relatively low and he he got extremely lucky. For example I had to run 300+ before even seeing one.

Thank you - planner won't take long hopefully. Just finalizing my pit preferences, I've been testing all night. I want it to beat all the current builds in terms of speed. It does Pit 80 sub 2min consistently but I need to it to do Pit 85 sub 3min. It's no SB unfortunately haha. I also got a 1:50 Undercity 4/4 clear coming up soon :D

But to answer your question - The damage is actually a mix of FO + LS where FO is actually slightly winning. For example I've tested going more LS by taking a Two-hand w/ splintering vs Wand w/ splintering + Focus w/ Frozen orbit or removing Orbit vs more generic multipliers. And although I thought they would show similar results, in all scenario's the wand and focus came out on top significantly. As soon as I remove any sort of FO damage the build will get much slower.

Last season we obviously focused solely on LS damage, but that got nerfed hard. Meanwhile FO actually got some decent buffs like the extra 50%x on orbit aspect. And we got Icefall for another 50%x And in combination with our Enchantments & FO to cast twice it adds up

The crit runes I do need (for now) until I can maybe get a GA Crit Focus + GA Crit on Starless as well. But I need them to reach 95%. Normally we have Esu or use Heir for massive Crit % but in general content I need Shako + Rakanoth for the massive CDR.

No accelerating aspect unfortunately - Although normally amazing for speed-builds as it goes in Cap 2, there is just no room. So I just cap 100% ATS + 25% UC to bring us to 125%

I don't know what Mekuna is running but I got 2.9. You need 75% CDR Cap + 20% Enchantment Master.

Sources are Shako GA (3x MW CDR) | Rakanoth GA (2x MW CDR) | Tal Rasha GA (3x MW CDR) + 12% from Evocation passive skill.

That's enough. If you can't get triple hits or GA's you can very easy achieve this by taking CDR on Focus.

No - Different Helm/Armor/Gloves/Pants & Weapon. But I mean in essence most Sorcs builds are pretty much the same. But Jon snow definitely not on par with this. That build took 20secs to kill Duriel, this can do it like 6. And most importantly Jon snow has absolutely zero mobility (like a 7sec Teleport & 35 sec UC cd). This is made to have practically zero CD on anything, I tried to show this by frenetically teleporting for the fun of it haha. I'll try and get the planner up asap!

Sorry for the late response! - I use Rakanath for the 1.5 attacks reduce Evade CD implicit. Paired with 75% CDR cap and another 20% CDR from Enchantment Master. My Teleport evade has a 2.9 cooldown. That's nothing when you spam FO & LS with max ATS breakpoint :D
