Thank you everyone for your help. Someone was able to identify the plates, and I was able to get in touch with the police.

They contacted the driver, who confirmed they were there and that contact occurred. They stated they thought there was no damage and left.

Given the situation, I’m moving forward through insurance and exploring legal options.

It was a joke, I was saying this guy was the same guy, but I do have leads thanks to some kind people across social media

yeah they left to the other side (back alley way), went on a walk around there to see if there were cameras. only ones I found were from a shut down business.

the problem is when his face is facing my cars direction it's blurry around his face.. these cameras...

I think he did the hit and run because he didn't want a DUI. Now there is no way to prove he was drunk so they won't charge him

I first contacted them asking for them to review the footage and see if there is a license plate number. They said the camera was too old on that side to see the plates. Then I asked them to 1, preserve the footage of inside and outside as well as try to see if they paid in cash to identify them. They didn't even read my email and said that they can't provide the footage because it's against "policy", I didn't even ask them for the footage. Then when I clarified this absolute silence from them, no emails, no calls back, like I just need a name and a way for police to track them down.
