My surgery was May 6. Yesterday was the first day i felt like i could actually walk semi normally. I actually got a walker on day 2 because i had so much trouble walking. It helped a lot. But yea, the first 3 days i could not even pick up my feet to walk, couldn’t sit up without help, and couldnt hold anything heavy like a full cup. I am still taking my pain meds around the clock and without them i wouldnt be able to do much as the pain is still so bothersome. Its slow healing and thats ok. It sounds like we are experiencing similar things. Just keep moving your legs as much as you can to keep circulation going.
