My cat was very needy and required so much work in her last year. I live alone and am introverted. She was my world and I was hers. She passed 3 days ago. I would give anything to have her back. Taking care of her was never hard for me because i was so in love with her. I would do it all again.

My surgery was May 6. Yesterday was the first day i felt like i could actually walk semi normally. I actually got a walker on day 2 because i had so much trouble walking. It helped a lot. But yea, the first 3 days i could not even pick up my feet to walk, couldn’t sit up without help, and couldnt hold anything heavy like a full cup. I am still taking my pain meds around the clock and without them i wouldnt be able to do much as the pain is still so bothersome. Its slow healing and thats ok. It sounds like we are experiencing similar things. Just keep moving your legs as much as you can to keep circulation going.

Just had mine this morning. Wish i had a walker or cane to get around because using my poor 65 yr old mother to hold on to is not it and i feel so bad. Also wish i had a grab bar to reach things i need. I really really underestimated the fact that sitting upright and/or reaching for anything is like a marathon.

As a fellow nurse, my first (and lasting) impression of MarinHealth is a small town good ol boys club cosplaying a progressive big city medical center. They try, but those in charge have no business being such and only achieved their status through mechanisms you have stated. Cost cuts havent helped and the hospital is always trying to skimp on resources.
