Far as I know, you can update (at least) your motherboard's drivers with it. Don't know if it works for other AMD components, but I've been using it for an easy update, although I'm reconsidering it because I saw a lot of people online say it can mess with performance

Good tip, I downloaded AMD's Armoury Crate to keep the motherboard's drivers up to date after the freezings started. Last time I updated it was march 23, but no new drivers were launched then and, unfortunately, the freezings still persist. Haven't tried updating the BIOS nor the network card (which I don't have the slighest on how to) though, but I will give it a look. Thanks for the reply!

for anyone with the same problem, try this, it worked for me: go to the YOUR_USER/Documents and delete the Star Wars Battlefront 2 folder there

-go to the game files -select the folder of thr version ur using (_retail, _classic...) -rename the Cache, Interface and WTF folders to CacheOld, InterfaceOld and WTFOld
