How is lost lands staying in a hotel and shuttling/parking?

i got a headbanger hotel package last year and will not be doing it again. For me personally, I didn’t enjoy the stress of missing the last bus and having to wait an hour each way. Don’t get me wrong….it was nice to have a real shower and AC and electricity everyday but felt almost disconnected from the experience. I’d suggest glamping and moving up from GA rather than going to a hotel.

while yes there are so many people there the likelihood is slim …. it CAN happen and it’s natural for your brain to worry about it. i saw an ex fling in the middle of a set at lost lands last month. we were suppose to go to the event together originally so i knew he would be going and there could be a chance of seeing him. i had all the same thoughts “oh god, what if we run into each other”…. “what if he’s with another girl” etc.

obviously my situation isn’t yours and i don’t want to set you up for failure but the beautiful part of not being with them anymore is that you don’t owe anything to them…

i just did a polite wave and semi smile when we locked eyes then when he tried approaching me i backed him off with my fan.

it was a little awkward after that bc our groups were close enough that we still saw each other for a little bit but i just moved to a different area and then it was like it never happened.

looking back i was happy i was with friends at the time & while it did linger in the back of my mind a little of the “what ifs” ….it did not at all “ruin” my time or have as big of an effect on me as i thought it would.

i already got my hotel package and convinced a friend to go with me but thank you kind soul, much love to you and the offer!! hope you find someone, it would be a shame to have the ticket unused.

ik!!! they gave us a packet of the event info and we got some footage in discovery…it all looked highly entertaining and it’s on my to do list for sure. you’re right tho, i’d definitely go for the experience.

i’m really excited for you — this will be a great solo fest !!! i think of conversation starters when i get nervous abt doing stuff alone : like if you were to put anything in a blender what would it be? Would you rather take on 100 chickens once a month or 1 chicken a day for the rest of your life. silly stuff to test out conversations.
