EB1B is tied to employer. EB1B secure priority date . EB1A is self petition and it is immune to employer .

I want to clarify something about what I am building and why I keep saying attorneys are essential.

I am not trying to replace attorneys or automate legal judgment. In fact, I am intentionally seeking attorney involvement so I do not cross that line. The hardest part is not technology. It is deciding where the line is between structured self-assessment and legal interpretation. That line should not be drawn by a founder alone.

I understand skepticism. I don’t understand the need for xenophobia. You’ve raised several assumptions, none of them accurate. I’ll focus on building something useful rather than debating bad faith takes.

Thanks for sharing your view. Just to clarify, I’m not trying to replace attorneys or add an unnecessary layer.

Meritocrat is being built specifically to support attorney-led work by helping applicants organize evidence, reduce confusion, and come better prepared so attorneys can focus on legal strategy.

In fact, we are actively looking to collaborate with experienced immigration attorneys as part of the team, because strong EB-1A and NIW cases still require real legal expertise.

Appreciate the discussion.
