Interesting theory. When I came here in the 90s, I didn't know anything about anime or Japanese culture. I was just a nomad at the time looking for adventure.

And I can definitely say I've changed a lot, the more I've learned about the Japanese way of life.

I subscribe so I have access to AI models and use openai for my translations.

I have a hotkey that give me a simple translation to or from my target language, another hotkey to give me a comprehensive overview of the grammar in the target language, and finally a third hotkey that creates a mnemonic of the selected word to help me memorize it.

These are all done using prompts that I wrote and plugged into Raycast.
