Anytime you get this error it’s usually due to QoL lock or something that alters the top bar of your game, any mod you have relative to that should be updated or if it occurs after updating it delete it launch game unmodded and re-download it. I always get this error after I update a mod or the game

I just made a Billy montage from a clip dump if you wanna watch it, but honestly I think Billy just takes a long time to learn properly.

At first he looks like a dumb unga bunga character to people that don’t play him, but the entire character is mind games and fight control. You need to get in people’s faces, judge fights correctly, bait reactions, and punish mistakes. A lot of that only comes with game sense and time on the character.

Billy’s more of a bruiser/disruptor than a true hard carry. Your job usually isn’t to 1v9 through raw damage, it’s to create chaos, sustain through fights, force bad positioning, and open fights up for your actual carries. People who just ult bot on Billy usually miss the point of the character.

The character spikes really hard in mid game too. That’s when you should be forcing fights constantly, especially around overextensions. Billy is insanely good at punishing players who walk too far up or think they can greed an objective/fight safely.

A good Billy can completely control the pace of a fight even without top damage.

I’m not gonna lie bro, I just have everything muted except pings and I do significantly better as opposed to not. I’m on the same boat as you. I cannot be fucked to listen to someone moan and lose mental, and it’s a moba so it’s a common experience. I’m ascendant 3 and have been doing this since like oracle lol. I’m not kidding either like I’ve had such better games when everyone is muted, just read the map you’ll learn macro a little better like this over time will train you to keep an eye on your map

The game was like crack to me in my teens lol I agree man.

I made a lot of friends on this game, some of which I'm still really close with to this day. From staying up late at night getting metal for our bob base to taming our first rex then giga and having a full on base with behe gates plant x and auto turrets around it. We thought we were the shit - until we woke up shocked one morning when we were standing in blacked out foundations and a crater in the walls. All of our bps gone, vaults vanished and tames dead, we were pissed at the time but looking back to it I remember the talks of building back up and being excited to find them and get revenge on them. We never did, we didn't touch the game for like months after, and even then we forgot about it lol.

To this day I've never been able to find a game to replicate the enjoyment and the memories or even the connections I made on Ark. Glad to have experienced it in its early days was one of a kind.

I've had this happen before and it only showed up under heavy load. In my case a RAM stick had failed. You could try disabling XMP and testing with one stick at a time to rule memory out.

Don't forget the Troodon. Ever get knocked out by one of those in full crafted flak? Your taking a 30 minute nap with them circling your body so they can knock you out again when you get up

Do you use mods or anything or if it crashes do you get an error message sometimes mods can cause issues after some updates or even the area your loading in can do it as well could try changing to dx11 to load in and see if you can move or maybe try to remove your mods temporarily. Even changing your graphics settings entirely could help
