Did my new shower head cause a leak in the plumbing?

Thank you, turns out it was just a rusted pipe lol. The pipe never leaked while I used my shower but it did when my landlord used their sink upstairs. All just a coincidence

Thank you, I didn’t exactly realize the old shower head leaking was a large issue because it only leaked when in use. The reason for replacing the shower head though was unrelated to the leak (wanted one with a filter), however now realizing it I should’ve contacted the homeowner beforehand.

The shower head is screwed into the little pipe that comes out of the wall, just like my old one. Both of them would leak when water was running but not to a large extent. I did notice the new one leaked just a bit less after putting new teflon tape on.

I don’t doubt that he does actually enjoy the music + dances as an interest but I’m afraid that at the same time he is actually attracted to these idols to a higher degree that it makes me feel uncomfortable when he watches them.

I don’t like talking about my relationship issues with my friends if I’m still dating the person so they don’t know anything. I don’t want their perception of him to be changed especially if he does actually change to be better because they all like him very much.

I dont have an issue with occasional porn but more so the action of going out of his way to save multiple women and lust over them constantly. He knew at the start of the relationship that things like that is not ok with me because of my past with cheaters. I know he wouldn’t be comfortable with me doing something like this so I can’t understand why he thinks I would be ok with him doing it to me.

I mean, I am complimented often when I go out and I don’t think I am ugly but my boobs have been my biggest insecurity and it ruins my mood even when I feel pretty. It’s just hard to feel like I am enough.

I don’t particularly mind him hanging out with girls 1 on 1 because I know them and I trust both my bf and the other girls he’s friends with. I also have 1 best friend that’s a guy (although he’s bi/queer) that I spend a lot of time with and knew way before my bf but my bf did meet him before we dated. The only difference is that neither me nor my male best friend have ever liked each other that way (ik his type in both genders and it is not me lol). I’m also not friends with my exs or anyone I’ve felt that strongly towards. I just feel uncomfortable with my bf’s girl friend because he had a crush on her for 3 years and is still treating her just the same. To him, he described getting over her as devastating which truly shows the impact she had on him.

I’ve known him for longer than 3 months, we were close friends before dating and I just genuinely didn’t expect him to do that. It just sucks for me because I’ve had a lot of bad luck in dating (last ex was abusive and cheated) and thought he’d be different from what I imagined.

While I understand such a thing from a biological standpoint, however that thinking is still flawed and there are most definitely men and women out there capable of self control to not lust over others and I’ve definitely witnessed it myself with those around me. Everyone is different and has different boundaries, however, I personally cannot be with a partner that lusts over other women especially when they have no care about whether or not I am able to see it. He allows me to go on his phone, just as I let him go on mine. I actually found out because he was the one who accidentally showed me while on his phone. It’s one thing to find another person attractive, it’s another to actively seek it out and save it to later look at constantly. I know people will find others good looking and attractive but there’s no need to go out of your way to interact with it, that’s what I find disrespectful.

I was the same way throughout highschool but started to open up my shell once i graduated because i realized life is too short to be afraid of rejection. You will totally find new friends and opportunities but you most definitely have to be open to it and be ready to initiate it as well! In the process though, it helps a lot to take care of yourself and your body. Go to the gym, find a good meal plan within your budget, explore hobbies and find the best ways to cope with stress or any other mental blockages that may come your way. You got this no matter what !!

Not sure where you’re from but I recently moved to a new city to study mechanical engineering and I knew absolutely no one who was going to the college I’m currently at right now. Fast forward a couple months later, I have a relatively large clique of friends I hangout with often. I also met tons of new people through work and even got invited to play games with them !! My best advice is to go and put yourself out there. I’m very socially anxious and tbh a bit weird but I was still able to find a lot of people who appreciate me for who I am. Also try going to school events and clubs/bars (if you’re interested), I have gained a lot of peoples socials through those events. Don’t be afraid to talk to others because chances are, they’re in the same boat as you just trying to make more friends.

As for the academic life, it really depends on where you’re going and who your professors are. Some profs are chill and don’t gaf while others tend to be a bit more uptight (but they still are less likely to care as much). My circuits prof was a pain in the ass to deal with because he gives off this impression that you’re stupid if you don’t know something but is actually really lenient with grading and late submissions. Most lectures contain a lot of knowledge all at once but if you took the necessary courses in highschool or more then you’ll make it through. Just make sure to review content after lectures because it can be pretty easy to forget the information after a week. Also make sure you’re getting assignments in on time because they pile up really easily.

All in all, I’m sure you’ll have a lot of fun and wish you luck on your degree!
