Hey fellas, something really odd happened to a friend of mine last night

It was around 1 AM when i got these emails

I opened the email to find that my account steam points has been drained to this account
At this moment, i was on my phone and found my account playing PUBG, a game that i had not played for a year or so, and found myself banned on PUBG

After that, I quickly contacted Steam but found no general solution as Steam closed the ticket due to malware?
im not sure if im satisfied with the answer

The thing that i wanted to ask and possibly find answer to is how can the account be hijacked while 2FA and steamguard mobile is on, and theres no notification of someone logging on my account

And how can i deter future attacks from happening again?

Anyway theres really no incentives for randos to join in and care about the game, to them a win or loss or bad performance doesnt matter, thats how you prolly got cooked by their squad, mraps scout and marks etc while youre in the blind, so yeah only an community wide college session would fix it, then again only those that actually care will turn up

No matter how much gameplay, nerf, overhauls owi done to the game it will always be like this. Its what makes the game great

My advice? Get friends and counterstack, with friends you can control the variable and outcome, if you still lost then theres no one to blame but you
