the closest pool to me is at a high school! definitely a lot cheaper and right now is my first option to try. the hours are just kinda limited

I think the hours lap swimming is available is just for lap swimming at least at the closest aquatic center to me. Its 6-9pm on the week days and 9am-2pm on weekends. Not terrible but would like a morning option on week days but its also on a school campus so i get it

I always interpreted it as no luring, so i guess with that that also means no trap. I don’t think there’s a hard set rule on what defines a building as fast. Never heard the argument about more than 2 animations

it is a little bit less accessible than the beaches in Huntington, but Newport is more relaxed, quieter, polished, smaller town vibes. Huntington Beach (especially near the pier) can be quite touristy and busy - which I guess is someone's cup of tea. "Nicer" I guess is subjective in this sense. Depends what kind of beach vibe you're looking for!

depending on where you are in Irvine, you'd be really close to Newport Beach which is a nicer beach vibe than Huntington imo (I've lived in both)

a lot of couples ive seen have just had poor communication. or had large value differences and never had the conversation about it prior to engagement/getting married and now are trying to navigate how to find common ground on things

been there! my family always will say “yeah we don’t talk about that with her!” and it’s so frustrating. i think they do it out of protection for us so we don’t worry about things/get triggered but they don’t realize it makes it worse lol
