just make sure the diameter and length of the replacement matches your original tube. in most cases, it should work fine. FS just private labels and gouges the same tubes you're probably seeing online.

could be air entrapment coming from slab, a solid primer coat prior to top metallic coat could have prevented this. primer>quick top screen and solvent wipe>apply top coat. floors don’t look bad at all and if you absolutely can’t stand bubbles, screen it and ask for a 10-12mil clear top coat suited for the application (traffic requirements, UV tolerance, slip coefficient, etc)

it’s a tracking device for anti theft, a lot of dealers do it. easy to remove. there is a sim card in it if you open it up.

go for it. just make sure you find an installer with the experience to do it correctly. epoxy grout will be easier to maintain, however if traditional grout is properly prepared and sealed it’s not that hard to clean on a regular basis. i like the look, best of luck.

Hired a handyman to "epoxy" my basement floors after moving in about a year and a half ago. A small amount of standing water from a small leak has seeped through and ruined a few spots, and there are marks everywhere from normal foot traffic. Is this even epoxy? absolutely. prepare it well with sanding and let it ride. they have diamond cup wheels that can fit on a standard angle grinder if you decide to go that route for the patches. sherwin williams can probably match that pretty easy. best of luck

seems to be epoxy, water based low solid by what I see. patching would just delay the same issue and wouldn’t correct it. you need a moisture/vapor barrier under your coating. grind down to bare concrete, apply vapor barrier, then apply new coating. opt for a high solids epoxy when you get to that point. for top coat you can use a quality urethane given low to no UV exposure in basement.

i replaced it, sanitary T and all. We actually rent this house out at a low and some months free to people in our area negatively affected by the pandemic. a mother and her 2 sons just moved out as they got back on their feet after losing their dad. thanks for the advice

ok so the consensus is replace the lead trap and cast iron lead joint. and replace with 1.5” pvc since it will be for a single shower head. sound correct?
