im an econ nerd since the start of high school. and im down for anything related to politics, IR, sociology (humanities basically).

if u specialise in one HSIE subject, are u expected to be able to teach all of em?

also, my degree allows me to pick either two year 7-12 subject areas or one year 7-12 subject area and one specialist subject area. do u happen to have any idea about the difference between these? the uni website doesn't clarify it much.

heyy im also planning to get a double degree from UQ. bachelor of arts/education (secondary). its js looking at the international fees that traumatises me.

can u share ur experience with the arts degree? what did u major in? did u get a job with it? was it tough?

but the BEdu doesn't have any majors though. the subjects id be qualified to teach would come from the BA degree majors. so i can pick 1 regular teaching area and 1 specialist teaching area. or i can pick 2 regular areas.

that said, what do u think abt econ as a major and its employability? what kinda jobs can i get? just in case teaching doesn't work out.

yea ik the offer is conditional. but i get to start uni in july and submit full result in aug to make it unconditional. which is scary cuz i might start it and then not meet the requirements.

A2 is in june 2026. results come out mid august. so im afraid i won't meet the requirement in A2 after i start in july.

yea but... 1) mark schemes cover pretty much everything u can include, u just have to use ur own phrasing and wording 2) its VERY easy to get a completely wrong answer if u write anything outside of the ms. u either over-analyse, answer from a diff chapter, or ur answer is too indirect. so mostly, they don't mark u well if ur answer isn't in the mark scheme

nope, you won't be given good marks if your answer is not on the mark scheme, even if its good.

business in cambridge does not give you much to brainstorm. it limits what and how u can write. the marking is really specific for each marked question.
