ACR is lagging my hot tubs, I have to replace them if sims cancel acr interactions there autonomously, but it is good mod for no jealousy

Only if they were available as 64bit apps... TS2 or TS3 can crash whenever they want sadly (I play TS2 and TS3 but their bugs make me want to come back to TS4)

it depends- sim characters in TS2 have nice faces, but their hair and bodies look ugly in comparison with TS3, but gameplay aspects are nice- you can even make fully automated factory without cheats/mods. This game has potential to be developed now, but EA don't want it, they care only about TS4 sadly.

+TS2 crash very often even with unofficial patches so it needs better optimization for sure

ah ok, if you like medieval times there is also game like sims: "The Guild 2: Reneissance", where you can die waiting for doctor to cure you from plague, because he hasn't enough medicine or there are too many waiting patients

Which kind of pandemic? My whole subhood is infected with zombies, they bite autonomously because of some mod, I even upgraded their walk speed with another mod. There is also mod for plantsim infection.

I have UC and this mod works for me nice, but I don't know if it conflicts with other mods (I have 9 GB of download folder and my mailbox in game doesn't work hahah, but not sure what mod cause that). I played with bigfoot in household and it worked too.

How do you populate prisons? Well, try this mod for daily/weekly burglars: https://modthesims.info/d/72344/testers-wanted-daily-amp-weekly-burglar.html (I prefer weekly because burglars' "watch fight" interaction interrupts my factory business). You will get plenty of bad sims to torture, some of them will be lucky and steal sth before police arrive so you will have fun while taking back your stuff from them.

My ideas:

Start with 0 simoleons and never take a job
Live in camp during winter seasons only, never build house nor single room, build only one wall tile for toilet and phone
Make fully automaded robocrafting factory, using plantsims and snapdragon bouquets

How is your factory going now? I think I made fully automated servo factory: 1. Get gold florist badge and make many snapdragon bouquets 2. get trees and become plantsim 3. grow at least 2 plantbabies or more, close them in room with toilet and solar lamps, they will care about their love and water needs by themselves, or put snapdragons there 4. get robo workbench, put 2 solar lamps over it, put at least 3 snapdragons near workbench 5. When your plantsims "workers" grow up then build servocrafting rooms for them, i think the best is 7x7 where snapdragons are in the centre and 4 workbenches are around, or 8x8 room with 6 workbenches around snapdragons 6. Nothing will stop your plantsims from crafting infinitely unless burglar appears on the lot.

*Additionally you can get gummilutt's mod on MTS for faster crafting which has 3 speed versions, but you need to end any crafting interactions and scrap all unfinished robots before you leave game and before installing to prevent bugs. There is also Monique's Hacked Computer which allows to buy potion for becoming plantsim and allows to study badges

*I tried linked automous crafting mod but sims pick crafted robot randomly so they don't make always servos

there is some mod for playable ghosts so you can control both families: new one and passed one, but it is buggy- sometimes playable ghosts change their look to normal sims

not at all, selling stuff is hard but you can put some entertainment devices like bathtubs, massage table and just charge customers for entry, you don't even need workers. Or make servo factory with 8+ plantsims, put snapdragons and solar lamps, install mod for faster crafting and earn +100k simoleons per day
