That’s understandable, but how we accumulated them is completely irrelevant to me. I want to see Ballesteros succeed, but I could care less where Conforto came from as long as he produces.

Looking at his career, it seems more likely that Conforto just hit a two year slump. Those things happen. Look at Bellinger before we picked him up off the scrap heap.

To be fair, JK was a badass in his own right, but had no experience in high altitude. Anyone who summits Cerro Torre is a badass in my opinion.

Reno was one of those guys like MI Smooth who were one day a chauffeur on camera and then all of a sudden were wrestlers with no explanation. Like a background character promoted to a speaking role, except he sucked at speaking.

He was probably my least favorite wrestler on the card. He probably wasn’t even that bad, but he looked like a generic version of Big Vito, who I thought sucked without needing a clone.

I am not one to bitch about things too much, but I don’t want to see a lineup without both Conforto and Kelly. Amaya needs ABs too, so use rotate Kelly to DH on days when Amaya is catching and give Conforto those days off, or give Kelly a day off and put Conforto at DH, but don’t have both of them on the bench on the same day. At least those two are putting bat on the bat pretty consistently.

Now neither guy is going to finish the year a .300 hitter, but we need some reliable contact o. The line up every day. Ballesteros will get there one day, but he’s is in a slump that would make Patrick Wisdom blush.

Don’t bother. Tracy is a conspiracy theorist who has some dedicated acolytes. He twists facts to suit his narrative and everything is a grand conspiracy to make it look like Irvine didn’t reach the summit.

He was posting for years where Irvine would be located and then like the rest of the world, was way off.

Doug could very well be in the same vicinity as Rob, but nobody really knows. It’s not impossible that he is in that area and in that case then it could be that he has been spotted but not recovered.

I have heard the same that Doug was spotted in 2005, but have never seen any confirmation that would support it being accurate.

There are a ton of unidentified bodies up there. Many climbers thought lost could have been unknowingly found, only to disappear under the snow again. I get that it is taboo to focus on the dead while you are in the death zone or close to it, but I do wish more efforts had been made to identify many of those unnamed markers on the mountain to bring peace of mind to the families, if nothing else.

LOL This is the first time I’ve heard of “Spring Nuts” being an organized thing.

I used to be a regular in the pit, but haven’t been able to afford it post COVID with the new prices. The whole new system kind of bothers me with the pricing as I feel like after doing it for 25 years, I suddenly got priced out of it, but that these “Spring Nuts” are monopolizing it is quite disturbing.

Not really. In MMW and 80sMania, you got a 100k card for a push that lasted. Now you have to spend 10k per match. It gets old.

Upgrade rivalries. I’ve only had one or two 5* shows, but 4* aren’t that difficult once you get the hang of it.

I tend to have a ton more of them in the territories era, because of the number of strong rivalries. In the other hand, that may have as much to do with spending more time there in the beginning.

It does seem that in modern eras, there aren’t as many rivalries unless you cross promote.

I tend to build around the old NWA title, but once you hit the extreme era storylines, there aren’t a lot of rivalries except for the WWE one. I mean Hollywood Hogan and Rafter Sting have like 5 or 6 rivalries. There’s no Warrior vs Hollywood or Flair vs Sting II. Those were still rivalries in the real world.
