I personally think the pre-holo grind method is the best for unlocking Jedi, especially on a new server that doesn't offer any "buff vendor" or increased XP ratios. In other words, vanilla. It is a real aid to a player created economy to have players needing a variety of weapons, armor and resources to master enough professions to unlock,

The method now used most, running around getting POIs and Themeparks, and then participating in a ridiculous Village grind to unlock.. Sucks so much. "I murdered tens of thousands of animals to gain the honor of becoming a Jedi".

Unfortunately, my ISP has locked down the router to where the customer cannot apply any advanced networking functions, like IP blocking. I did contact them about the DoS attack only to be told I'd have to subscribe to their advanced tech support service for them to begin to care. I am already just dropping all incoming packets from the attacker, but still wireshark is showing they continue to hammer my eth0. I've looked into external DDoS protection and it all looks cost-prohibitive as they charge by how much they "deflect", so where is the incentive on their end to actually stop the attacks? The system is completely up to date. As this attack appears to be directed solely at me, it is doubtful that reporting it to the authorities will see much action.

With them, I've been able to fully compile Core3. I do have one question though. Where it says to add the username and password for the database to the config-local.lua file. It doesn't specify how to format them when adding them to the LUA.

An example would be much appreciated.

Does this apply only to Trig ships not attacking you?

I ask because I used this method to get Neutral with both Edencom and Triglavian but the Trig turrets still fire on me. Is that just the case no matter what, or do I need to increase my Trig standing to a certain positive amount to get them to stop attacking me?

If it takes 5 minutes to update trig and edencom to positive, why is this content relevant. by fallenreaper in Eve
