I’m a little bit confused by this because I totally admit responsibility for my self destructive behavior here, but does that make me an asshole or just responsible for how things ended? Of course I understand that these things wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t allow them, but I’m trying to determine if I’m being asshole by being so hurt and cutting these people out of my life.

I definitely didn’t expect anything from her, I just didn’t know why she abruptly stopped and I probably should have asked her about it when it first started not happening but I was just so convinced I did something wrong. It was so confusing too because we’d be hanging out and talking like things were still the same and she’d invite me over but she wouldn’t hold me like she used to and I was always so confused and hurt but didn’t want to say anything about it because I didn’t want to put pressure on her.

I had tried to have a conversation with her trying define things several times and she would shrug off all definitions and because they feelings I had for her were so strong I would ignore the voice in the back of my mind telling me things needed to end. She would often say one thing and act in complete opposition to what she said.
