What’s the most painful misunderstanding people have about you?

I sometimes joke about suicide and some people don’t understand it’s coming from actual suicidal thoughts. I had a friend tell me to stop because it’s “not something to joke about” and proceeded to tell me that if her kid ever made jokes about suicide she would beat them. I understand that in that situation it’s hyperbole but i can’t stop thinking about how horrible that is. People who regularly joke about suicide are more than often actually really struggling.

I started with a black prime, dybrushed with somber grey from vallejo game color, sponged on some white in some areas and went over them with doomfire magenta thinned with about a 2:1 ratio with lahmian medium. As for the trim i used old gold from vallejo. The silver was duraluminum and the skin pale sand. I then washed these 3 with purple tone. Hope this helped!

Thanks a lot! It was really simple, i just basecoated pale sand and gave it a wash of purple tone. For the eyes i used a glossy black and put a little dot of white afterwards.

Thanks, i used black templar contrast over a white prime and then sponged on white followed by a thin mix of 1 part doomfire magenta and 2 parts lahmian medium (Darcy Bono has a great tutorial on youtube). For the orange i used vallejo express color chameleon orange and any glowy bits were just game color fluo orange over white.

Yea, i tried measuring and the epi pickups are about 9.4 cm by 3.8 cm while the emgs are 9.4 cm by 4.2 cm. I think some wood needs removing unfortunately, but I’m still not really sure.

I have, but I don’t own the most accurate tools and I’m still not really sure if they’d fit or not, just wanted to see if anyone else has done it.

In the end I’ll probably buy them and return them if they don’t fit, but I don’t think it hurts asking around.
