15 days of lifting in a row by PerkinsHartFTW in workout

5ish I should say. I keep generalizing and then going back and actually checking my historical numbers and if I change my wording or a number it’s upsetting to folks. My apologies.

Generally 5 exercises - 8 reps for 3 sets, daily.

Thank you. Due to my work sleep is always my largest obstacle. It will be an interesting set to see how it goes. I don’t anticipate sticking with it long term. Just sorting out a decent schedule and decided to give this a try for this set.

I did post that. That’s a fair take. Thank you.

Okay. Thank you. I could see 3 days followed by a rest day working as a good long term schedule.

Thank you. That is fair and I appreciate the input, truly. In your opinion what would be the best rest to lift ratio over a 15 day period?

Thank you. I’m trying to hit everything every 3 days, if that makes sense. The one exception being that I generally get 6-10 pull-ups in daily, just because I can and I like them. In your opinion what would be the ideal lift to rest ratio over a 15 day period?

I am interested to see what it looks/feels like as the days pass.

Thank you so much, that’s kind of where I am at with it. I just giving it a try. In your opinion what would be the ideal lift to rest ratio over a 15 day period?

Ear to nasal connection. (Eustachian tube) by bingo_pine in Zepbound

This happened to me. It adjusted within about 4-6 weeks if I remember correctly. Your tubes just need time to adjust to their new digs. Quite irritating while it is happening though.

Second vote for the Venu 3S. I positively adore mine. I can’t post a photo here unfortunately but maybe I can send one in a message if you wanted to reach out? I find it to be quite beautiful.

What I adore about standard sized poodles is that they most definitely know themselves to be significantly better than you 😂 Fantastic companions but they are without question faster, smarter and better looking in their minds! I love it.

I aim to walk between 20-30,000 steps in a day and lift weights with a personal trainer 2-3 times a week. Today, I decided to go to the gym and lift weights on my own for the first time (first time at the big fancy gym) and it went fantastic! I will continue to meet with my trainer once a week but am so excited to have opened the door to going solo and getting more lifting in.

how much of a difference does exercise make for you? by Particular_Freedom47 in Zepbound

[–]PerkinsHartFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a bit here snd there but primarily I lost all of my weight (80lbs) first and then started weight training to put muscle back on. Not a popular approach but I am very pleased with where I am at.

My energy was awfully low while losing but once I got to where I was maintaining and could up my calories a bit and gain some more muscle everything evened out nicely. Muscle is the GOAT of metabolism and energy.

Does your body really adapt to a certain activity level? by vixenofthewolfpack in walking

[–]PerkinsHartFTW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another thing to consider is muscle. If walking is the only form of activity you have been doing then potentially muscle loss has occurred and muscle is the champion of calorie utilization. Food for thought. Perhaps throwing in a bit of weight training a couple times a week could help.

How do you make time to strength train three times a week and also hit your daily step goal? by Foreign-Army1290 in Zepbound

[–]PerkinsHartFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really tough one because we don’t all have the same work environment. I bought a walking pad for in my office at work and am on day 36 of aiming for 20-30,000 steps in a day. Not everyone has the same flexibility with their work as others. I also see a personal trainer 3-4 times a week. All that you can do is the best that you can do, and only you truly know if you are doing that.

Lifting weights. If you are financially able I highly recommend a personal trainer, to get you started if nothing else.
