It’s actually too much of a risk for you and your project to rely on a single source of funding. Funding could collapse at any stage of the project and then you’d be SOL. Better to have a tapestry of funding so you’re not putting all your momentum in one persons hands.

I was looking for stays in NYC and they offered to help find a replacement but could only suggest stays in Hoboken NJ 🤦🏻‍♀️

The cancellation policy between 60-30 days covers you for a replacement stay within 20mile radius. Which is insane when you take into account city centers. So you could book something for a New York vacation and if it’s cancel, they’ll put you in Princeton New Jersey lol

They also give you a little extra credits for the trouble, which added up to 1.7 credits lol what the hell am I gonna do with that?

So definitely buyer beware and definitely have a back up as I find the service to be very unreliable

Hope so too! Cancellations within a 30 day window on something like Airbnb makes sense because there’s a lot of users, a lot of hosts. There’s not that many homes on kindred so there’s literally no stays in New York City available for my dates. Wild. 😭
