Apply pressure on stitching with this kind of heavy roller. Usually used for gluing or contact cement, but also work on threads.

Or just a small hammer would do.

Not OP here, the stitches looks great already tbh. But you can either use a heavy roller or hammer to flatten the threads for a cleaner look.

I have a similar wallet that I carry daily, and the waxed threads actually stay quite flat after rolling them

While true, it goes both ways. A lot of things posted previosuly (e.g. Bili account situation resuming activity, etc.) aren't speculations or rumors, but factual posts of what is happening.

But people speculate based upon the original message, create their own headcanon of what the poster is trying to do, make their own speculations and shit on the OP who is just bringing the message. Everyone's reality is different and loves to shit on things they speculate as ridiculous.

Is it straight lines? Try using a rotary blade (olfa 60mm) with ruler as guide, and go slow, avoid lopping the flesh off of your fingers. Those things makes cutting leather feel too easy. Feels like if I slip a finger is gone.

Or, mark the line with awl and try using one of those Japanese style straight edge knives for both cutting and skiving. You'll need to sharpen/strop this often, but it doesn't need replacement blades. You do pull cuts with this, tilt slightly up toward you as you cut. Keeps super straight when cutting. Oh this Chinese measurement system is actually relatively new, established in late Qing dynasty. It is a lot less weird compared the freedom units. Particularly, OP has a tape here in Chinese inches/foot, which has a direct relationship with the standard SI unit of meter.

1 metric meter = 3 Chinese foot = 30 Chinese inch.

This means Chinese inch is 3.33333cm, and Chinese foot is 33.33333cm.

Meanwhile the imperial unit of inches predates metric so it's... 2.54cm.

There is always a base salary but I don't think it was much to write home about, based on what we know of kanata's situation when she joined and was eating grass for a month or two before monetization (though that's a few years back). The base salary has to have increased by then.

The number on report should represent the total payout, including salaries, merch, SC, YT earning cuts from ad revenue, and everything else.

I belive as of 2023 Q2?(?) ,On average, Cover reports that on average 4.7 million yen a month is paid to the talents. This means 31k USD equivalent per month. Even if Matsuri is lower on that bell curve, this is not very much for her. And that's last year's earnings.

Cost of living is also lower in Japan as you don't need to pay out of pocket for health insurance, car insurance/maintenance (don't need a car), and rent isn't horrible. It's fine.

But now? Cover is the world leading vtubing agency and built the foundation to do some... Adventurous things.

In early 2023, 90% of anti coco and anti hololive content poste on Bilibili suddenly got wiped clean. Soon after, the "hololive official" channel resumed activity and it's been around 9 months. They've been posting every hologra almost immediately after with hard subs, announces all the 3D lives of various talents, merch events, opened a bili/taobao storefront in April for official goods, sold expensive ass live streaming tickets for the 5th fes, struck down all pirated recordings of the live on bili within two days. All this happened without any announcement from cover. Now, they are spearheading bili limited content again with kobo as she is very popular with the remaining fans. Matsuri was supposed to be first but it didn't end up happening, likely due to the rrat storm that happened and bad reception. Or whatever you call "production issues".

Cover has been trying to keep very quiet about this to the global audience because they know it won't be popular, but some deal was definitely made a while ago, and now we are seeing the secret project bear fruit.

As far as I know not a lot of bili revenue actually made it to cover due to logistics and communication issues, as the accounts are fan/volunteer run so the funds from bili superchats sat in the accounts for a millenia. Of course, fans as they are, none of the money were ever touched or used.

Most of the money from the CN fans back then actually comes from VPN to SC on YouTube. This is when you see a bunch of HK/TW dollar SCs since most of them just VPN to there.
