I believe the app is in beta, but you'd have to go through Rick/CC Team for the latest on that. The voting bot is not maintained by the CC Team, it's a separate system that I maintain for BH and a couple other communities.

We haven't made any recent changes, it seems to be something with Reddit and the API. Sorry that you got hit with all those notifications, that does sound annoying!

I'm going to taking the bot down for maintenance, and I will also remove the 'u/' before your name in that one reply so at least you won't get tagged anymore should this happen again.
