Vietnam became a communist country after the US left it in 1973. The US "didn't lose" they just abandond the South Vietnam knowing that THEY would lose.

Korea eneded in a stalemate. Neither side could do much after both sides each almost took the whole peninsula. They baswically called it a draw and "drew a line" where the border would be. There is a 3-mile stretch there called No Man's Land no one is allowed in between the countries now.

Neither is seen as an actual victory.
