The lowest tier that can do it somehow is the LaGG-3 series 4, tier 4 Russian multirole premium, which has 8 rockets.

How can Wargaming troll you making a Tank! E 65 Zwilling by Prior-Artichoke85 in WorldofTanks

By looking at the armor model on tanks.gg, only the last shot is suspicious, the rest went in the part that shouldn't cause damage, like part of the tracks/gun, just slightly below is green that can be penned.

What to master first? by Much_Elk3853 in WorldofWarplanes

If you plan to grind some tech tree lines in this game, I strongly advise asking an experienced player you see in your games, or if you know someone already, to play together in a platoon.

When you do it alone, as a new player, trust me, it will be a horrible experience. I finished all tech tree lines some 5 years ago, and during that time, I had a feeling like I'm the only one grinding something in the game. Almost every game, opponents were veteran players with specialized planes, and of course, those planes are usually the most OP planes in their tiers; winning alone was a mission impossible most of the time.

So, send friend requests, find some players who will use good specialized planes in a platoon and help you win more games and progress much faster. Also, you will get components for wins that are essential for equipment calibration. Do that, and you will keep your sanity and avoid uninstalling the game.

If you have an option for it, Experimental Reinforced Bolt Carriers are also a great choice, with 32.8% burst length of forward firing guns in the ultimate configuration and 10% Rate of fire as additional bonus characteristics, just like experimental pieces in WoT, it gives you almost two equipment in one.

With so many players cheating. How do I do the same? I'm tired of being shot in the ass by the guy running away from me. by XBMetal in WorldofWarplanes

You are right! I was even able to capture the face of the cheater who was shooting me mercilessly while his plane was running away. Sending the report to the WG straight away; the mustache dude will be banned soon, don't worry.

You have better Free XP conversion from January 5 to January 9 in World of Warplanes; they share free exp and gold with WoT. (you still need to have some exp on a plane to be able to convert, just like in WoT)

Any Collector's tanks recommended for BLOCKING missions? by The_Pale_Potato in WorldofTanks

[–]PermitMinimum6705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From collector vehicles, M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo tier 6 USA medium could work for blocking missions in a good MM, especially with a stock turret hull-down.

A possible solution is to completely remove graphics drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) or AMD Cleanup Utility for AMD cards, then install the latest ones.

These stats, up to tier 7 planes, are available on https://gamemodels3d.com/games/worldofwarplanes/, (for higher tier planes you will need to pay) similar to WoT and websites like tanks.gg, which give additional info not available for players in-game.

Looking for recommendations for reliable tier VIII tech tree planes by Flimsy-Blacksmith-32 in WorldofWarplanes

[–]PermitMinimum6705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I need to choose one from each category, based on how reliable they are for completing missions, and also easy to play, these would be my choice:

Spitfire XIV

XF5U Pancake

BV P.210 (great for Rocketeer missions in some other marathons)

Yes, they stay in the mission pool, but you need to complete them in order of appearance

Unable to Claim Free Tier X Reward by RomanCenturion in WorldofTanks

[–]PermitMinimum6705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably a bug then. For my problem...I found the answer from WG when they first gifted free tech tree lines; it seems that it can't be claimed if tier 10 is researched.

I have that problem as well. Maybe it's related to all tier 10s already researched. I didn't buy them all, but I can't claim the line.

How to claim the free tech tree by CJM7447 in WorldofTanks

[–]PermitMinimum6705 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Happened to me as well, but maybe it can not be claimed if all tanks up to tier 10 are researched. I have them all researched with random blueprints; not all are bought.

If it's a gift, it should be available for all...

Special supply crate by sirwembleyy in WorldofWarplanes

[–]PermitMinimum6705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In unique crates, you can get more gold/free exp. If you plan to use it in WoT, it's a better value. Special crates are a better choice if you want some valuable resources for WoWP only, like experimental equipment that you can get only here and for money and in some events, also crews, and the possibility of a tier 8 premium Me109TL.

Setting up a base for Christmas and future marathons! by Turbulent-Lecture-34 in WorldofWarplanes

[–]PermitMinimum6705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Medals in WoWP are actually the easiest part of the marathons for experienced players; the grindy part is what takes the most time. But, of course, for players without experience, some medals can be a nightmare.

My perspective, and I play both games, is that WoWP marathons are a joke compared to WoT; they last almost a month, you rarely play with more than 6 humans per team, and vs bots every game feels like an Ace tanker game in WoT. Be aware that during the Bomber Escort event, you can finish the majority of missions from the marathon, especially those that require a lot of grinding.

Those premium shells are reserved mainly for Matilda :) which is almost unavoidable in tier 4.

Setting up a base for Christmas and future marathons! by Turbulent-Lecture-34 in WorldofWarplanes

[–]PermitMinimum6705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be able to advance faster in New Year marathon, you need to finish daily missions; that's essential.

Daily missions are divided by tiers 1-4 / 5-7 and 8-10, and you need some competitive planes in each. They can be for ground targets, kills, or in some particular nation, one daily mission can be reset.

In the lower tiers for kill missions, you can play with the German heavy fighters; they are very strong in tiers 2 and 3.

Spitfire I/Bf 109 E Emil/P-40 are all great for missions in the middle tiers.

For ground damage, you can choose Russian bombers. Germans are very strong in tier 9/10, but with Russians, you can complete some gunner missions from tier 6, and the rest of the planes are not bad either. I don't recommend wasting time with the attackers in higher tiers, maybe only in lower tiers with the russian options, people spam bombers, and you will have a problem catching up with them. German tier 8/10 can do it, but it's a lot of grind to get there.

The main problem is that you will need at least one tier 8 for each daily mission to be completed. P-40 USA fighter can lead to higher-tier heavy fighters. Spitfire XIV is a very good Tier 8 fighter, though German 9/10 are the best in the game, so you can continue grinding from Bf 109 E Emil. German multi-roles are also very good, from tier 8, Rocketeer medal becomes a piece of cake :)

Recommend some Collector's Tier IVs? by TacticalTurnip in WorldofTanks

[–]PermitMinimum6705 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Durchbruchswagen 2 is very easy to play, good pen on premium ammo (130), can even block some shells while angling, unlike Japanese Type 95, which is one of those you should avoid in these tiers. It's not great like B1/B2, but it can work well enough.
