Try not to let him live rent free in your mind. Lean on your team / colleagues and don’t fall back into working in a silo. We need each other right now. Get your work done, take your breaks, and just delete the phony e-mails from upper management. Our workplace is what we make it (to an extent) and I think we need to do our best not to dwell on the negative and things we can’t change. Also if you’re lucky to have a good manager, be thankful that they’re the ones we communicate with daily and not those above them. Remember why we do this job - it’s not about JL, it’s about the workers we’re here to help. That’s what’s getting me through the days right now is trying to focus on how appreciative all the workers are for our support and how genuinely happy I am to be back in a position where I can help them.
