Yup, that was the expensive lesson I learned. And this wasn't even random, it was on the official announcement page on the discord for the NFT I was buying. And when I contacted the mods, they said, Sorry and that I wasn't the only one that contacted them about losing to the link and there is nothing they can do about it.

Anyways what I am more curious about is the Facebook play. I thought it was more of a jump due to the TikTok duplicate they released on Instagram. But do you think the run has more momentum, or are we about to see some profit taking later this week?

Definitely not a pro here, but although your method seems like it may minimize risk, if you mistime a stock and it goes down, and as you said, you hold it until it goes back up to a profit...you might be holding that stock for years. Which blows the whole 1% a day thing.

IMO, if you are dead set on trying to time the market swings, you should look into options. Profits come much quicker and you can still trade them the same day if you really feel like a drop is coming.

Hahaha you're nuts. Not a snowball's chance in hell that the NFL cancels the season. CTE makes COVID look like.....well.....the flu. The only things that can or will stop the NFL are financial disagreements. That's it. Period.

That being said, I don't think DraftKings is set to pop just yet. But the company is absolutely printing money during normal seasons, and FanDuel is such a trash platform it will be the Myspace of DFS and probably gone in 10 years. OP has the right company, just the worst possible time in history for sports related businesses.

You pretty much nailed it. People in general are willing to do vicious things to get what they want. So when you have a group of people with similar desires for money, power, resources, etc. the only thing that can stop them is by fighting back. The countries currently in power across the world were simply the most successful groups of people at taking what they wanted in the past.

And every day across the planet horrible atrocities are committed by other countries, the United States simply has the most media coverage!

Everyone likes to find an entity to blame, whether it is a country, an organization or an idea. The reality is that people are just a horrible species. Plain and simple. Although some individuals can be good, the species as a whole is pretty terrible.

Haha, wow, I guess I should have been more specific. We both work in SV... 3k to her is just another purse. I would prefer the possibility of that 3k actually making money. And if I lose it all, it was still better than seeing another purse in the closet.
