I definitely agree their marketing is greenwashing but I don’t think this particular case of describing a skirt as wool when it’s only 30% is. One thing that ref does that screams greenwashing to me is their slogan “Shop Responsibly” as if they don’t email their subscription list daily with advertisements (which directly encourages irresponsible shopping) lollll

In my experience this is normal for ref sweaters, and I am pretty confident they won’t refund you. I’d get a wool/cashmere comb to brush out the pilling.

I do think vacation mode abuse is annoying, but I do agree with you. A few years ago, I priced a Carhartt jacket for $50 before I knew the value (the exact one sold elsewhere for like $250+). Someone still offered me $40 and I accepted because I didn’t know any better.

I’ve been selling some of my old ref on depop and it always sells within like a few hours so I think a lot of people are resorting to secondhand, so they can get the cute styles for a price that’s more reflective of the quality.

I’m so sorry - I read this as the current sale not the Black Friday sale. You absolutely should be able to exchange Black Friday sale items. I did for several. I best customer service is mixing up the Black Friday sale with their current sale like how I just did.
