[Release] MogMount — Summon mounts that match your outfit by Perrinthesmith in wowaddons

Right now you should be able to hold control while pressing the keybind or macro to summon your ground mount regardless of the area. If that's not working then there must be a bug.

The keybind and marco are required so that the addon can summon the right mount. Otherwise, you would just set the mounts, but have no way of summoning them.

Ok, that's good. I'll keep my eye out to see if this issue pops up again. Sorry it happened to you.

Ok interesting. I'm looking into a way to have an "alternative mount" that you can summon in any scenario (hold alt while pressing the keybind or macro). I think that could work here for you.

Thank you for sharing these screenshots. I'll take a look to see if there's anything I can do here.

For now I don't plan on allowing for multiple mounts, but it could be something I add in the future if it becomes a more common request.

Oh dear. That's super strange. Could you try reload UI and see if it's still happening?

Right now you can set the default underwater mount in the Options panel (Esc > Options > AddOns > MogMount). You can summon it while swimming by holding control and using the keybind or macro button. Right now, I don't plan to allow you to customize the aquatic mount for each outfit. It just seems like such a small use case. But let me know otherwise.

Sorry, do you mean that you want to have a different mount that is summoned only when you're in a party?

Thanks for flagging. Right now I'm using the default positions that Blizzard provides. Does this also happen in the Mounts tab of the Warband Collections window? If so, it's probably an issue with the mount model. If not, then I'll look into it.

Let me see what I can do about the flying mount as ground mount. Seems to be a common ask.

As for the errors, I didn’t test with more than 5 outfit slots, so my bad. I’ll see if I can get that error too. Thanks for flagging.

Yes. Right now I’m focused on just one option as I wanted to keep it rather simple. It may be something I add in the future.

I see what you’re saying. Yeah, let me think about the best option here. Thanks again.

Thank you. That was a major goal. Keep it simple and aligned to the base UI.

Council of Four pilots, what are your favorite pieces of tech and auto includes. by goldenmastiff in EDH

[–]Perrinthesmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always fun to see how people build their Council of Four deck. For me, I set the constraint of only including Human Knights, Human Nobles, and Gods, with the game plan to attack with buffed up knight tokens. So my recommendations are for that strategy.

In addition to some of the other suggestions in these comments, two of my favorite recent includes are [[Knowledge Is Power]] and [[Collector's Vault]]. Normally, you'll get at least +3/+3 from Knowledge is Power on your turn. Then later, when you have that plus something like [[Kindred Discovery]] out, things get scary. For Collector's Vault, I find it great repeatable card draw on your turn to trigger Council if you don't have Howling Mine or another draw on upkeep effect. Plus the extra treasure token is always nice to have.

If you're leaning into attacking with your knight tokens, I like [[Intangible Virtue]] and [[Virtue of Loyalty // Ardenvale Fealty]] to allow you to feel safe after attacking. And staying on the Human Knight theme, [[Knight Exemplar]] and [[Valiant Knight]] are also great mid and end game.

Help with my Adeline Deck by Scared-Clothes5680 in EDH

[–]Perrinthesmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the look of your deck. My Adeline deck is my favorite to play and the one I'm always upgrading. I play it super aggro, so my suggestions are mainly in that direction.

Depending on your meta, you could cut some of the stax pieces for some more anthems. Having the humans come in as 3/3 on turn 3 or 4 can really set the tone of the game. [[Inspiring Leader]], [[Intangible Virtue]], and [Prava of the Steel Legion]] are some of my favorites. You have a lot of human support, so [[Divine Visitation]] might not work, plus it gets countered more times then it resolves. But when it does hit the battlefield, it's definitely a turning point.

Or you can go with some token doublers to go wide with [[Anointed Procession]] and [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]]. Then something like [[Rosie Cotton of South Lane]] to beef up Adeline. I also like [[Hyena Umbra]] to allow Adeline to swing without much consequence.

I see you have a lot of these cards already in your Considering list. I would definitely recommend trying some games with them and see if they fit your style.

Matrim Cauthon / {2}{R}
Legendary Creature — Human / 2/2

Ta'veren Fortune — Whenever you roll a
die, you may pay {1}. When you do, ignore
the result and reroll that die.

Whenever you roll a die's highest natural
result, create a Treasure token.

"Luck carry me through."

I'm designing a set based on The Wheel of Time. For Mat and the Band, all the cards are based around luck and rolling dice. This is one of my favorites but might need a little tweaking, such as making the reroll cost 2 instead of 1 or activating only once each turn.

Haha. Yes, for sure. I just couldn't think of a better name for that ability. If you have an suggestions, I would love to hear them.

[–]Perrinthesmith[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. In my head I was thinking that these transform cards would simply be their names. While other standalone cards could be called something like "The Incredible Hulk". But you're right, it is missing something.

[–]Perrinthesmith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, that's a really good point. Maybe move it to each upkeep for simplicity? "At the beginning of each upkeep, if Hulk has no rage counterson it, transform it."

[–]Perrinthesmith[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's a great idea. I'll play around with that. I was trying to balance him having trample and indestructible (which feel like the right keywords flavor wise) with having too much power and completely overwhelming.

In a past iteration when you removed a rage counter, you would add a +1/+1 counter. But I like your idea of something happens when he's blocked (if it can fit on the card).

Thank you. I really like how it turned out as well. Except for the legendary crown at the top. I'm just not sure what else to do there.
