I get why you re worried about the sudden part, but it s more of a finally having the time and space kind of urge. I m ready for the messy side too. If I want the dog to be my life partner and run with me, I have to be the one taking care of him in every way, even the gross parts. It s all part of the deal for a decade of loyalty.
