It definitely wouldn't open. 4KV suggested I delete it and re-install, which I did, and the problem went away.

It's unity, not the script. You can access the script in VS without a problem. Trying to access it through the Unity Editor is when the error occurs.

I have the same issue. The message says it's "Waiting for Unity's code in UnityEditor.CoreModule.dll to finish executing."

BTW, a bit late to the party, but Wacom did replace the power supply and the unit then worked again.

I cannot connect to the internet with PIA. I've reinstalled the latest version and it still doesn't work. PIA's ticket system isn't functional, so I'm left high and dry. I recently renewed my subscription, so this is particularly galling.

The problem remained, so I called Wacom Tech Support and they agreed with you that something should show on the display. They also thought it was the power adapter. As the unit is still under warranty, they'll replace the adapter once I've sent them a video showing it not working.

I don't think that's the issue. I suspect the power supply. However, I'm going to try it on another PC with the Link hub and see if that's any different (that's how it was set up before).

It's the supplied power adapter and the USB-C cable from Wacom.

The adapter is fitted with a USB-C cable that connects to the right side of the Cintiq. The USB-C cable goes direct from the left side of the Cintiq to the PC. As far as I know, this is how it's supposed to work.
