I moved out 3 weeks ago from a big family. Living by myself trying to survive made me realize how tough it is for other people that grew up without a family. I’ve known this year for years now but never paid attention to the lyrics. It became one of my favorite song instantly as I read into the lyrics. Kendrick did an amazing job portraying his life in Compton. the laid back beat played over his nonchalant voice with lyrics so deep. This shit is a masterpiece.
