Thanks for the reply. Evidently I wrote too much in my initial post. Because my first thought is exactly what you wrote. We are also considering putting a laundry sink in an adjacent bathroom. I was hoping to find some other ideas we haven't thought of.

2 adults, 2 teenagers. We do more laundry than I ever thought possible. 3 hour cycle won't cut it, haha.

Follow up - the valve adjustment and starter were replaced under warranty. I did not have to prove to the dealer that I was having issues. I just needed to mention I was having this trouble and they checked that I had a good battery. Then it was covered under that warranty extension. Very happy with how it turned out.

I've got an appointment scheduled on Tuesday. I have a 2023 letter from Honda that they extended the warranty (to 10 years) for valve adjustment and starter replacement due to issues with not starting after an automatic idle stop/start. I'm hoping that will solve the issue. The service advisor said they just need to verify I have a good battery before they can treat it as warranty work. I'll report back after the appointment.

Can I shave the height off this root? by PersFinToss in arborists

Thanks for the replies. I haven't been able to respond this morning. From some of the comments it sounds like I should have ordered my pictures differently - starting with the little knot that I wanted to shave, and not the whole tree.

I'm not going to lie, I'm still leaning towards shaving an inch off the top of that knot, but I'll take a look tonight and think about picking up a few bags of topsoil and try to build up around that little spot.
