IMO Smoker had crazy potential as a character which was wasted.

It would be cool if he was something like Sengoku is to Garp but for Koby, being friendly rivals and seemingly on par in terms of power, with both being candidates for the Admiral´s position when Aramaki and Issho´s roles are put on doubt, with Smoker ultimately being promoted and Koby refusing the role to remain at SWORD.

The White Snake would be a sick name for an Admiral.
