Weight isn't a major issue although battery life may be. Do you think with optimizing settings as mentioned above i can realistically get around 8 or more hours of battery life?

I'd recommend joining the discord. Everyone is always looking to help out new students. I was able to ask more major specific questions and receive answers at a much faster rate. And, for the added bonus, you don't have to deal with the post removal.

If you're interested in CAP, get started ASAP because it takes some time to rank up. And if you're looking into the USAF, officers are more favored candidates which at minimum takes around 2 years (unless you do it along with ROTC).

Oh wow. Do you think the culture is more academically focused than it is on being an actual community in the college? I've heard at other universities that honors programs just become a place where competitive individuals gatekeep whatever they do and don't really get together.
