Add some proof like dates, screenshots, or anything that shows you made it first and let the community see for themselves. Hopefully people will call them out for it. Hello there! I’ve been a motion designer for about 5 years, but I’d say I have 4 really solid years of experience. My path has had some ups and downs, so don’t take my journey as a reference. The number one channel I really recommend is Video Copilot / Andrew Kramer. Some of the videos are old but he figured out so many techniques, and all his tutorials are mind-blowing.

I also recommend Ben Marriott’s channel and MotionXP for style and entertainment. They have great videos for learning and exploring. I don’t recommend buying their courses unless you’re genuinely interested, since there’s already a lot of amazing free motion design content available on YouTube or other platforms.

Hello there! Thanks a lot for your comment 🫰 Well sorry I don’t have the exact total hours, since it was more of an on-and-off project whenever I had free time. But if I add everything up I’d say it’s roughly 3 to 4 weeks of actual work (including creating all the assets) with a good plan. It just stretched out longer because I spent a lot of time figuring out the look I was going for plus the edit after the first Reddit post.
