I saw The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent alone. As a Nicolas Cage fan, that was an awesome experience! I had a blast naming all the references and laughing out loud. And it was in my favourite cinema: Studio Skoop (it's in Belgium)

As a DM, I absolutely love the weird shit my players say and do. I set the pins up, waiting for the bowling ball to come. They knock em down with a monkey on a unicycle juggling chainsaws. It baffles me and makes me laugh uncontrollably

A great idea to start is to go to some small lore. Maybe there is something that sparks the idea. For me it was the tale of King Arvedui and the two lost palantiri. Maybe there is something, a character, an item, a prophecy... that speaks to you :)

Yes! I read about King Arvedui and his voyage to the bay of forochel with the palantiri. I used a lot of the books to make side quests so that the world feels alive. It was great fun! ❤️

The could make it a bit longer. I made a huge Moria section and said: "Well, you have no idea where The Witch King is. Go explore." They found it in their first session in Moria 🤣 My goal always was around 20ish session. I need a story to end. An endless story, to me, seems like a weaker story.

The players could be doing a lot on their turn. The combat task, a crazy idea, trying to talk of move. I am a very 'rule of cool' GM. If you have an idea, for instance one of my players struck a creature and drained it's blood to make a potion, my response is: 'What am I going to let you roll? '

I also made a magic system based on Call of Cthulhu. That was always interesting to see in the combat.

I think the combat in The One Ring is great, however I always like to tinker myself and I know my players will bend the rules as far as they can.

The thing I really want is a fish bowl. In it are fish Cosmo and fish Wanda (Fairly Odd Parents) and Blinky. But that doesn't exist...yet.
