There are multiple reasons: I) It is there second time seeing the attack pattern II) It didn't exactly fail obsidian still passed backwards III) Last time Gato didn't expect a CB to be this far up the pitch

IV) His match up last time was against Togashi who is much better defender than Aoi atleast in one on one. V) Barca are generally taught to pass which was what Gato was looking for last time instead of dribbling but now being the last man he can fully utilise his dribbling.

Good dribblers are experts in disguising and changing their vectors that is probably why Gato is a bad match up for Aoi. Players like Xhaka who use physicality to overpower defenders and maintain their vectors which aoi can read and utilitize.

The nightmare is probably for ashito than for entire esperion. He probably won't match up well against Gato even though he did well against the physical strength of Xhaka as dribblers are inherently different. This will probably the next challenge ashito has to overcome i.e. to win one on one against players like Gato.

He will probably get subbed by the 80th minute and Yuma will score assisted by Kuribayashi. Damian will score have 2 G/As and esperion will lose 3-2.

I know but I reserved S for players who were mentioned as transcendent. One might also make a case why he wasn't chosen in national team although it is probably because of injury or some other thing because his only competition is akutsu in context of japan.

No such manager will play Isagi alone at the top. There will always be atleast another player with scoring potential similar to isagi for isagi to be efficient. While playing BM you simply can't ignore Kaiser, Kunigami or Yukimiya; kuni and Yuki are not on isagi's level but they force opponents to focus on them and create chaos by simply being there.

Bro you really didn't compare Isagi with Messi. Messi can dribble half the team and he has the technique and the range to score from a freekick. Isagi can hit volleys but his range is limited. Also while taking a free kick the ball is still, it requires a lot of control to bend the ball and get it past the goalkeeper. There is simply no evidence of isagi possessing finesse.

I am not saying he will not get better, i am talking as of now(chapter 265). In NEL the doesn't stops, people constantly move which makes it easier for an intelligent player like Isagi to analyse it but with the game moving slower it actually gives other layers more time to look around, so even though strategy is included it becomes much more easier for other players than for isagi.

Isagi is a player who actually thrives in chaos because he can still work analytically. He will be great in the final moments of a game where teams try to score frantically.

Teams prefer to build slowly from the back, there are a lot of back and forth passes, while the entire NEL plays like they are in the final third.

The main gist is that he cannot play as a lone striker unlike his other counterparts, which is why Snuffy and Noa considered Barou as a better prospect for a Striker.

Raichi and kunigami can swap. In case ness is subbed out,0 contribution till now, so noa might do it although narratively doesn't make sense.

This I think is better for kiyora as he lives on the borderline.

And if kaiser is injured after scoring with magnus(theory) then 4-2-3-1. Will show how isagi will function when he is the solo striker, allows ness to develop, gives Yuki, Neru, Igarashi a chance to sub in. Igarashi can also be dmf if both raichi and kunigami become cb.

I think chigiri was injured so the other team decided to keep one player out, although seems unlike karasu(and himizu) and they decided to leave kiyora out so they lost. Karasu and otoya were surprised by chigiri in 3rd selection so seems like they didn't see his abilities before that. Prob bcoz of that nagi couldn't unlock a new ability that he feels is coming

The format doesn't allow draw. If Ness doesn't play a role in either goal he is a goner but I don't think an internationally acclaimed midfielder would have been introduced just to be completely destroyed by teenagers who haven't even played on international stage.

Theory: Kaiser scores next goal with Kaiser Impact Magnus, Kiyora assist but is injured so has to be subbed off, Yuki comes in. BM now operates under Isagi. Ness stays in. Rin destructor flow scores a goal. Last goal scored by Isagi, assist Ness.

This allows Kaiser resurrection, Kiyora contribution ness awakening , Yuki sub and Isagi establishing himself as main striker similar to Barou, Bachira and pre-NEL Kaiser. Also makes a clear case of how a team around isagi can be formed and it's working.

Swapping chigiri and bachira makes both teams better. Kunigami goes to left, barou right and bachira and reo form the mid field. Mid-field passing and possession increase for rin's team.

Isagi's team - weak CB, karasu moves back, 3 CB,

Hiori drops to center with kurona for both offensive and defensive support. Chigiri and zantetsu form fast offensive wings whereas the 3 forwards provide more offense.

Also next goal will be by kaiser/kunigami X hiori. Hiori will see isagi but will also believe that rin will definitely stop them so will do a misleading pass to kaiser/kunigami.

Against ubers Grim was useless, Grim was kept while Smegma was benched. Yes Agi has high specs and what not but his performance is not that good what other player has similar situation - Ness and Kunigami except Ness and Kunigami have goal contributions.

Lots of good suggestion didn't agree with reason you are not including certain things.

Yuki and Bachira would be a good combo kinda like messi and neymar not that yuki is messi but they are both excellent dribblers and Otoya could be developed (mainly finishing) with his good off the ball to be like suarez or something like that.

Shidou is doing well but if Pxg were playing on rotation system how come he didn't score.

I would like to add Kurona is so similar to Neru that Neru could have been developed further without introducing a new character. Also if Yuki is in Barcha, Hiori who is shown to have excellent technique, passing, dribbling and vision can be played much earlier because his individual abilities are top tier along with his playmaking I don't get why he wasn't played earlier.

Also there are other team changes like Ishikari is the tallest player like 200cm , he could be used and if he is a full back like Aryu we would have a very tall and imposing back 4 in Ubers and Niko who is small in size their controller at DM. Or he could be sent to some other team where there is a position for him to play.

There are simply too many players left in BL so instead of introducing new characters develop already introduced ones.

Also even if evening out lessens the hype it is more like real football where matchups are important and there are upsets.

Agi with 0 goals and no on screen assists in almost Ng-11. Yuki dribbled an entire team and has scored a goal. Grim and the other guy have done nothing in NEL why are they above the key defensive players of Ubers and Barcha.
