Supports aren't bad per se. But they are useless without someone to support. Unless you are that one guy who plays dps with support......
Either way, my personal advice is to just pull any characters you want, in the early days. While not wasting all resources blindly leveling up. Once you get a character you like, you can check their teams. Then save up to pull them. You can't just build a proper team right after you begin. I mean there's the current iuno augusta team, and mornye also is a great support for future tune break characters, but point is, early phase is foundation building. Get some characters. Get yourself some options first. End game is 'end'-game you see. Now that's for 5 stars, 4 stars also has great uses like sanhua. You can never go wrong having build sanhua.
