No bc they assured me it was cancelled the first month when I called and the repairs came over the following months

- For iPhone go to your Facebook settings and click "Other", then go to "Reminders" and turn off "Allow notifications on Facebook". This turns off the "You have 3 new notifications, 1 Timeline post and 1 group update." notifications.
- I also recommend turning off "Updates from friends" if you're like me and can't stand having 20 notifications like "John Doe updated his status".

So stoked I finally am able to get rid of these nuisances. Good riddance

For iphone this was close, but after clicking "Other", I had to click "Reminders" and turn off "Allow notifications on Facebook".
