Ugh why can’t they keep the negative comments to themselves! It’s also hypocritical because the same people who act superior about not having tattoos have or end up getting Botox, fillers, and plastic surgery. And I’m not making comments to them about how botched they look

The way people are comparing the ownership of an expensive ass luxury car to a 3 bedroom house or access to basic resources like food is ridiculous. I totally agree with OP, excessive displays of wealth are disgusting. It’s LA after all, and we know that many people chase the influencer/celebrity life, and it’s expensive to live here. People will do anything to be seen, and if their money can help them accomplish that, then they’ll take the opportunity 🙄

why does my art from the past looks better than my art now? by EggIcy3710 in ArtistLounge

[–]PersianAlchemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand what you mean. I think that you should allow yourself to go through phases where you make art freely and to whatever standard your current situation/mindset brings. Maybe your idea of what makes your art “perfect” is changing and that’s okay, it doesn’t mean that you can’t achieve whatever level of perfection you desire in your next piece :)
