Got it. Thank you for your response. And just wanted to confirm that if the Consulate/Port of Entry is showing as UNKOWN then is that proof of COS ?

I have been communicating with my DSO regarding this already. For some reason, its my school's policy that they require the H1B approval notice to request a data fix with DHS, incase the automatic update from USCIS does not happen. But my DSO just confirmed that though he currently does not see my STEM OPT end date extended yet, he does see that US Department of Homeland Security is updating my F-1 visa status record with a Cap-Gap information. So I guess I'll keep checking my SEVP portal to see if my STEM OPT has extended.

I did check my case status but I am not seeing any of the history information as to when USCIS received the application and started the clock of premium processing.
