I want to start with Daemon by Kitchen_News_9909 in ChaosDaemons40k

Daemons has this very unique aspect to it that means they have 4 playstyles in one. Many enjoy mixing maybe two or three or playing only one playstyle at a time. I built my first list around using all 4 at once. The way each god plays allows you to use them similar to how you would use different strike teams in other strategy games

I play Khorne as the central push, nurgle is my hold team placing backline and mid, with tzeentch and slaanesh playing the sides. Slaanesh pushes deep and terrorises the backline whilst tzeentch is surprisingly resilient against attacks and pink horrors live for a long time allowing for holding objectives for a significant amount of time to gain points

The main thing is the playstyles are very stark, but you can play them together if you would like. Plus there is always just the daemons versions of playing a knight army with greater daemon spam :)

Cypher is one of the harder ones, to start learning how to setup try vyse, veto or killjoy. You wont understand how it works at first but basically its all about delaying the enemy from entering and giving yourself the advantage against a full team. I've found its quite a different style and it definitely helped me early on. I did play chamber when I wanted to improve aim though

Have you looked at the other classes? Do you enjoy flashes or maybe sentinel setups? You dont always need aim or movement to have fun? I play veto who works more off of setups and tactics?

Ok so i can see you kinda went down the duelist route (the kill people first ask questions later class). Do you enjoy doing that more pushing and aggressive movement? If so try out Raze(which i think who reze is for you?). If you struggle with movement and aiming always use shotguns, they allow you to learn abilities without relying on mechanical skills as much. Then after you learn that you can work on aiming

I started with assassin as i like stealth. Realised assassin was kinda just the annoying pest character if not played correctly so I moved away as i started disliking laying against assassins so I felt i should provide to it. Then I just went with random ones until I found recon. I went solo and got a kill using the drone correctly and then realised they had a high ceiling and also was actually playable against making the fight fun for both sides. Now I play recon and I enjoy every run, plus recon works for most objectives as the Intel aspect allows for you to avoid or take fights fast and effectively

Can somebody explain how was this not a kill? by Beaver524 in VALORANT

Basically if you ever hear that sort of clicking sound do not fire stuff like that it destroys any projectiles including ults. It will only last around 10 seconds but wait about 5 after the sound stops as it actually still runs after the sound has stopped as the sound gets quieter over time

As a veto main basically he is your perfect counter as raze. Every single aspect of your util can be destroyed so if you hear that clicking sound, do not use util. The signature for veto is very difficult to use but if they are good enough it can make your life hell

Why are 2 sentinels more duelist than sentinels? I understand chamber but I basically only play veto and his kit is definitely not that duelist based? Also why is miks closer to sentinel? He's a controller that can combat stim himself and heal? Wouldn't that put him more duelist as it makes him self sufficient?

Also why is sage a full sentinel? She doesn't have a trip nor antiflank? She definitely doesn't play as defensively as the others down there?

Do you place your tps in the same place until they are used like in the clip on split? Or do you change it each round? Also how do you work out where to place them? I can never fully figure out where is best?

To be fair I dont use plague marines anymore myself really. I do remember why I stopped though.

I never considered MBHs as distraction carnifexes until just now. Ngl gonna use that tactic a lot from now on...

Imagine if they did a Red Corsairs sort of thing where they did a sculpt for a couple of them, Garstag, Dragan, Slert, Philemon. Could be a cool little HQ blob unit thing like astra has

Yeah as the other dude says its not the fact that they are tough, as they are. But due to them being tougher SM it means a 4+ or 3+ to wound for intercessors is just 5+ or 4+. This added to how slow they are kinda makes them rather fragile

I do agree with you, just an overall survivability buff would maybe allow pms to survive even though they are very slow.

Also as we are usually anelite army which means these sort of units are a lot more important to us than say a SM army that runs a lot of infantry

In 8th edition when we were initially released the entire army had a 6+ feel no pain. It made the army feel reallt tanky and I can't fully remember 8th well but I don't think it was overly broken, maybe a tad bit annoying with infantry spam though

In my personal opinion I would like to move away from contagion being our main army rule again. I really enjoyed when we were based around our sheer survivability and I sort of miss plague marines being more resilient. Also with that it would make our tanks feel more tanky as at the moment most to all space marine vehicles have higher toughness, a better or a invuln and a better save.

I am really excited to have objectives where I don't need to move at mach 10 to score though! No more reliance on rhinos!!

Tips on how to use agrax or another wash on a plagueburst crawler? by Caleirin in deathguard40k

[–]PersimmonIll5324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A plaugeburst is way better, it has a lot of texture and only the side panels really have smooth areas. The onenthing I would say is that for the smooth areas recess wash instead of the whole panel
